Safety & Responsible Use

Read this page before purchasing or handling any product sold on this store.

Adult culinary use only. CROWN GAS products contain pressurized nitrous oxide (N₂O) and are sold only for lawful food and beverage preparation by adults using compatible pressure-rated equipment. Never inhale the contents.

Do Not Inhale Nitrous Oxide

Never inhale gas from a cylinder, charger, balloon, bag, dispenser, hose, or any other device. Inhaling nitrous oxide — whether intentionally or recreationally — can cause serious injury, unconsciousness, nerve damage, suffocation, frostbite, and death. Do not buy this product to get intoxicated or for any unlawful purpose. The U.S. FDA has published a consumer advisory on the dangers of misusing nitrous oxide; read it before handling the product.

Adult Purchase

These products are intended for adults only. The buyer must meet the minimum-age and verification rules that apply at the delivery address. Orders shipped to New York require a purchaser who is at least 21 and who passes the required age check.

Compatible Equipment Only

Pair the cylinder only with a regulator, hose, and culinary dispenser that are explicitly designed and pressure-rated for its format. Never adapt, improvise, or force a connection to gear that was not built for it.

Heat and Pressure

Keep cylinders away from open flame, heat sources, hot vehicles, direct sunlight, electrical hazards, and anything that could ignite. Never puncture, crush, burn, refill, or modify a cylinder, and never let one sit outside the temperature range printed on its label.

Secure Handling and Storage

Store cylinders upright in a cool, dry, ventilated spot where they cannot fall, roll, or be struck, and keep them away from children and anyone not authorized to use them. Do not walk away from equipment while it is in use.

Leaks, Damage, Exposure, and Emergencies

Do not touch, move, connect, disconnect, or transport a cylinder if doing so could put you in danger. Move people away from the area and keep it clear of flames, switches, vehicles, and anything that could ignite or strike the cylinder. If there is an uncontrolled release, fire, injury, unconsciousness, breathing difficulty, or any other immediate danger, call 911 and follow the responders' instructions. Anyone who may have been exposed to nitrous oxide should speak with a qualified medical professional or U.S. Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.

Storage, Transport, and Disposal

Store and move the product only as allowed by its label, the carrier, and local law, with the valve protected and the cylinder restrained against movement. Never put a cylinder in household trash, curbside recycling, a fire, or an unauthorized return shipment. For disposal or recycling, follow the directions of the manufacturer, an approved hazardous-materials carrier, or your local solid-waste authority.

Buying and Transfer Restrictions

Do not buy, give, resell, or otherwise transfer nitrous oxide to a minor, an intoxicated person, or anyone who signals an intent to inhale or misuse it. State and local rules can change and may be stricter than this policy — it is your responsibility to confirm that purchase, possession, delivery, use, and any later transfer are legal where you are.
